Don’t See Your Child’s Favorite Character? Ask Us Anyway!

One of the biggest misconceptions parents have when searching for character parties in Connecticut is that an entertainment company’s website is a fixed menu.
At CT Princess Parties, it absolutely isn’t.
If your child is obsessed with a particular princess, superhero, villain, adventurer, storybook character, fantasy creature, pop-culture favorite, or something completely unexpected, ask us.
In fact, the answer is almost always yes.
There are very few character requests we can’t find a way to make happen — especially when families give us enough time to develop the costume, cast the right performer, and build an experience around the character.
Some of our favorite additions have started with one parent sending us an email that basically said:
“I know you don’t offer this character…but could you?”
And our response was:
“Actually…yes. Let’s do it.”
The Entertainment World Is Always Changing
Children’s entertainment never stays still.
New movies premiere. Old characters suddenly become popular with a new generation. Streaming shows explode overnight. Video games introduce entirely new worlds. A character who wasn't on anyone's radar six months ago can suddenly become the only thing kids want for their birthdays.
And honestly?
We think that’s fun.
Our roster was never meant to be finished.
We’re constantly adding, developing, redesigning and dreaming up new experiences — and often, parents are the ones who tell us what we should build next.
Sometimes One Birthday Creates an Entire New Character
Recently, a mom contacted us about her son’s sixth birthday.
He had his heart set on an immersive galactic training academy featuring a legendary masked villain and a heroic warrior.
She had been searching for someone near her who could make it happen and was struggling to find anyone.
She even offered to purchase the costumes for us.
What she didn’t know was that these were characters we had already wanted an excuse to develop.
Her email essentially gave us one.
And that’s one of our favorite things about offering custom character entertainment in Connecticut.
Sometimes one child’s very specific birthday wish becomes the reason we add an entirely new experience to our company.
Building a Character Is More Than Buying a Costume
When we develop a new character, we don't simply order something online, put a performer in it and send them to your house.
We think about the whole experience.
What should this character sound like?
How should they move?
What kind of performer can bring them to life?
What props or accessories do we need?
What activities would make sense within their world?
How can the children actually become part of the story?
And most importantly:
What is going to make the birthday child believe, even for an hour, that this adventure is really happening to them?
A princess might perform a coronation.
A superhero might lead recruits through superhero training.
A mermaid may take children through games inspired by her underwater world.
A fantasy warrior might teach young apprentices how to complete their first training mission.
That's the difference between simply sending someone in costume and creating immersive character entertainment for a Connecticut birthday party.
There Are Very Few Characters We Won't Attempt
Could there theoretically be a request we can't accommodate?
Sure.
A costume might require technology that isn't practical. A character could need a highly specialized performer.
Occasionally, the timeline might simply be too short to build something to the standard we want.
But those situations are the exception.
Almost always, our answer is: let's see how we can make it happen.
We sew.
We alter.
We build props.
We style wigs.
We create accessories.
We source unusual costume pieces.
We cast performers.
And sometimes we start with an idea that has never existed in our company before and build an entire new experience around it
.
That's part of what makes this job so much fun.
Your Child Might Choose Our Next Character
Your child knows exactly who they want at their birthday party.
And you know the character.
It's the movie you've watched 37 times.
The costume they wear around the house.
The character they pretend to be while running through the backyard.
The one they would absolutely lose their mind over if they suddenly walked through the door.
So if you don't see that character on our website?
Please don't assume we don't offer them.
Ask us.
Seriously.
Somebody has to be the first family to request every character we eventually add to our roster.
Why shouldn't it be yours?
Looking for a Character You Don't See?
If you're planning a birthday party or special event in Connecticut, Westchester County, or the surrounding region and can't find the character you're looking for, send us a message.
Tell us:
Who your child loves
Their age
Your event date
Your location
And what kind of experience you're imagining
We'll take it from there.
Your request might already be something we're developing.
Or it might become our next build.
You bring us the idea. We'll figure out how to bring the character to life.
